Most of us will not get to Australia before June 19, but it’s tantalizing to see the website for this extraordinary costume exhibit. There’s a special exhibition of costumes designed by award-winning designer Marion Boyce at The Old Government House in New South Wales. If you’re a fan of the Kerry Greenwood’s Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher mystery series you’ll wish you could see the costumes worn in the television series set in the 1920s.

There are so many special events linked to the exhibit. There’s high tea, author talks, a speakeasy bar, a musical evening, and a “behind the seams” tour. Just too tantalizing, isn’t it?
Just can’t get to Australia, but you would like to immerse yourself in 1920s Australia? You can buy the books through The Poisoned Pen. https://bit.ly/1OHhYyr
